Pietro Antonio Cati

(fl. 1735 – 1763)

Pietro Antonio Cati cited a piccolo violin from 1741 in the catalogue `Kinsky'. He created a fine violin from the Gabrielli school, a large Stainer model with exquisite golden-amber varnish dated 1751. He also made a piece in 1738 and another in 1749.
