Pierre Boom
Violin maker
(fl. 1758 – 1779)
Pierre Boom was chiefly a maker of lutes and viols, though one violin dated 1779 exists in the Brussels Musical Instruments Museum, and Vannes cited two violas. His work was well-proportioned and featured good varnish typical of the period.
