Sofia Vettori, born in Fiesole in 1981, is a third-generation Italian violin maker. The daughter of Paolo Vettori and granddaughter of Dario Vettori, she grew up in her father’s Florence workshop and learned the craft within her family’s long-established tradition. She also studied the violin, graduating from the Pietro Mascagni Conservatory in Livorno in 2005.
