Violin maker

Heinrich Theodore Jr is the most famous member of the Heberlein family and one of the best Markneukirchen makers of his era. He studied with his father, Carl August Heberlein, then moved to Leipzig to work for Ludwig Bausch and finally became the pupil of August Riechers in Hanover. In 1863 he established his own independent workshop, where he worked until retiring in 1897. He also taught at the Markneukirchen violin making school.
His workshop was taken over by his sons, Paul Wilhelm and Albert Theodor.
