This violin is sold by the heirs of Lars Bertil Fresk (1942-2023), a Swedish violinist, leader of the Fresk quartet. A graduate from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, he was then employed by the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra from 1964 to 1968, until forming and touring extensively with the Fresk Quartet until 1994.
