Stamped twice to the upper block, "Evasio Guerra Torino." 

LOB: 35.6 cm

This violin, made in Turin in 1947 is visually striking with elegant tonewood and a well-preserved translucent varnish. Originally a violinist, Guerra learned the craft of violin making from Carlo Oddone and Romano Marengo.
