About the role
The Account Coordinator is a critical role at Tarisio that will develop and maintain lasting relationships with our clients, with a focus on the prospecting and securing of consignments. The Account Coordinator will also provide administrative support our Specialist Team. This is a wonderful opportunity to join the Tarisio family and grow within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Handling
- Prospecting of new consignment leads and securing of consignments
- Representing Tarisio to our global clientele, providing excellent customer service
- Serving as brand ambassador for Tarisio, always portraying a warm, hospitable demeanor
- Administering and sending contracts to clients
- Assisting staff with consignment-gathering campaigns and sales-related admin or events
- Availability to travel with hand-carried inventory, mostly within North America, to retrieve consignments and deliver sales, typically for high value property and/or VIP clientele
- Administrative duties / Front of House
- Assisting with email and telephone inquiries
- Assisting with receiving visitors at the front desk and engaging enquiries destined for sales staff and specialists
- Assisting in the smooth running of the New York office by handling client-related admin
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of Tarisio’s registration and bidding processes and effectively communicating information to clients
- Coordinating the office calendar
- Other duties as may be reasonably assigned
Personal Specifications
- 3 years of experience catering to client services (sales or administrative), preferably in the classical/performing arts industry with deep knowledge of classical music and ideally some ability to play a bowed stringed instrument
- Experience within a related industry or similar company
- Strong customer service ethics and high expectations for quality of service
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management skills, organization and attention to detail
- Adaptability in an ever-changing and fast-paced work environment
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to drive proactive communication
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team
- Foreign language skills a plus
- Love of music and familiarity with the classical music industry
