Bill Salchow dies at 88

Tarisio is saddened by the news of the passing of our friend and colleague Bill Salchow. Our condolences to Steve and Isaac and all of the Salchow workshop family. From his apprenticeship in Mirecourt to his being one of the founding members of the American Federation of Violin & Bow Makers, Bill was a teacher, entrepreneur, pioneer and visionary who inspired a generation of bow makers and experts.
He was a great neighbor and mentor and we will all miss him greatly!
