In 2006 Ning Feng won the Paganini Competition playing on a violin by Peter Greiner that was only 3 months old at the time. After winning the competition on this instrument, he commissioned his very own Peter Greiner violin. This violin can be heard on most of his recordings since.

The second cello Peter Greiner made was for Frans Helmerson.  In this video interview Mr. Helmerson shares his experience of commissioning this cello nearly 10 years ago. He has been a very happy cellist since.
