(1813 – 1895)

Born in Barre, Massachusetts, he studied under his father John and later formed a partnership with his brother Asa Warren White. His signature can be found under the button on many early instruments. Also known for making metal-wound strings. Received three medals for entries in various Massachusetts mechanics fairs.
