Varnish: Red-brown

Length of back: 42.9 cm

Upper bouts: 20.3 cm

Middle bouts: 14.1 cm

Lower bouts: 25.1 cm


Notes:

"The varnish is a rich red-brown in colour. This feature shows the probability of it being one or two viola known to have been made by J. B. Guadagnini for his patron Count Cozio di Salabue described as having been 'red tenors'."
