  • Certificate: Machold Rare Violins, New York, NY (2006) Attributes the back and sides to Nicolo Amati, and the the scroll to an unknown 18th-century Italian maker.
  • Certificate: Émile Français, Paris (1957) States that the scroll is not original.
  • Certificate: Hamma & Co., Stuttgart (1917) Dates the instrument to 1670-72 and states that the scroll is original.
  • Certificate: W. H. Hammig & Co., Berlin (1914) X-4443. Dates the instrument to c.1680 and states that the scroll is not original.
