  • Certificate: Jacques Français, New York, NY (1997) #5313. ". . .the violin. . .bearing a label of Nicolas Amati, dated 1666, is made in the shop of Nicolas Amatio. It is an early work of Antonius Stradivarius and is genuine of this maker in all its parts. . . This is an exquisite instrument in a pristine state of preservation."
