Giovanni Battista Rugeri

Violin maker
(1653 – 1711)

The eldest son, pupil and assistant of Francesco Rugeri. His own work is largely unknown. He may well have worked with his younger brother Vincenzo, who had opened his own workshop in Cremona, given that he moved to the same street as Vincenzo.
