Violin maker
(c. 1700 – 1770)

Parisian maker; pupil of Claude Pierray who succeeded to Pierray's workshop. Appointed maker and repairer to the Dauphin and to the Opéra. Made many instruments of various types, including quintons, pardessus de viols, as well as violin family instruments.
